&NOW AT THE SORBONNE
The Université de la Sorbonne is one of the oldest Parisian universities, and the largest institution devoted to the humanities in France. An heir to the College founded in 1257 by Robert de Sorbon on the very spot where the university now stands, then to the Faculty of Letters of the University of Paris, the Sorbonne University was created on December 23rd 1970.
